Additional 10 suspected cases of Covid-19 discharged from hospital

On Tuesday, additional 10 suspected patients in Da Nang who had been tested negative for the coronavirus (Covid-19) were discharged from the Lung Hospital after recovery.

Dr Le Thanh Phuc, Director of the Lung Hospital, said a total of 147 suspected cases had been kept in quarantine at some public hospitals in the city, 60 of whom had been isolated at the Lung Hospital.

Currently, only 4 suspected patients, including 2 foreigners and 2 Vietnamese, are kept in quarantine at the Lung Hospital.

“To date, the throat swabs and blood serum samples of 103 suspected cases with high fever in the city have been sent to the Nha Trang Pasteur Institute to test for the virus, and all have been confirmed negative ”, Dr Phuc remarked.
