Negative test results for 58 close contacts with British cured patient testing positive again
The Da Nang Centre for Disease Control announced on Tuesday afternoon that 58 local people, who had close contact with the British recovered patient testing positive again for coronavirus, have tested negative for the virus.
Among them are 31 people who are hotel staff and its driver, along with police officers, employees of the Da Nang Tourist Support Centre and healthcare workers being on duty at the Sam Grand Hotel where the British man underwent a 14-day self-isolation after being discharged from hospital following the Ministry of Health's guidelines. The remainder are 27 staff members of Da Nang International Airport.
All of the close contacts are under quarantine at district-level medical centres for 2 weeks. After completing their 14-day isolation period, they will test for the virus again.
Also, all crew members and passengers sharing a plane with the British man from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City are under medical observation in Ho Chi Minh City.
