Eight new community transmission cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Da Nang on Wednesday morning, all linked to four hospitals in the city.

Da Nang's new patients are seven women and one man, and their ages range from 19 to 68.

Five took care of their family members at the Da Nang General Hospital, and the three others were linked to the Da Nang Hospital for Lung Diseases, the Da Nang C Hospital, and the Da Nang Transportation Hospital.  

Here is a list of places where Da Nang's new Covid-19 patients have visited:  

- The Department of Intensive Care and Anti-Poison of the Da Nang General Hospital (since 6 July)

- The Department of Ophthalmology and the Department of Bone and Joint at the Da Nang C Hospital (17 and 24 July)

- The BigC Mall on Hung Vuong Street (18 and 26 July)

- The Department of Nephrology and Urology at the Da Nang C Hospital (16 - 23 July)

- The Mining Book Coffee at 54 Ha Van Tinh in Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Khanh Nam Ward (17, 18 and 22 July)

- The An Ngai Dong Church in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Son Commune (19 July)

- The shop at 411B Ton Duc Thang in Lien Chieu District (21 and 23 July)

- Patient room No 506 at the Department of Internal Respiratory of the Da Nang General Hospital (21 July)

- A hall of residence for students under the Da Nang University of Science and Technology and a house at alley No H57/14/K56 on Pham Nhu Xuong Street in Lien Chieu District (24 July)

- The Emergency Department of the Da Nang General Hospital (27 July)

- The Da Nang Transportation Hospital (27 July).

- The Da Nang General Hospital’s canteen, the Tam Phuc Restaurant at 132 Quang Trung Street, the eatery at 142 Quang Trung Street, an eatery selling Quang noodles on Quang Trung Street, the laundry shop at 95 Hai Phong, and the Vinmart supermarket at 114 Quang Trung Street (23 - 26 July.

- The KANE - M Company in the Lien Chieu District-based Hoa Khanh Industrial Park (16 - 23 July)

- The housewarming party at 22 Pham Tuan Tai Street in Ngu Hanh Son District’s Khue My Ward (19 July)

- The Hoi An Silk Marina Resort & Spa in Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City (24 and 25 July)

- The Moi Market in Hai Chau District’s Nam Duong Ward (every two days).

The Da Nang health officials are urging people who travelled to above-mentioned places to contact their nearest medical facilities to get support.
