Da Nang People's Committee People's Committee Vice Chairman Le Trung Chinh said, Da Nang has been on the right track in dealing with the pandemic.
Till date, more than 10,200 F1 contacts and over 11,300 F2 contacts have been detected. Since 24 July, a total of more than 75,400 swab samples have been taken for virus testing individual or pooled samples.
According to doctor Ngo Thi Kim Yen, the Director of the municipal Department of Health, in tandem with racing against time to save the lives of the Covid-19 patients, the traceability of those having links with patients and their caretakers in the once-to-be-hotspot Da Nang General Hospital is progressing well in a prompt fashion.
With regard to the treatment of Covid-19 patients in Da Nang, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Truong Son said that his agency is currently concentrating on fully deploying all workforce and medical supplies to provide actively and timely support to Da Nang.
In terms of the Health Ministry’s Covid-19 treatment guidelines, importance is now attached to promptly adjusting the protocols on the basis of promoting the application of medical achievements from advanced countries around the world, and accelerating the clinical trial process to find an appropriate treatment regimen for each patient’ physical condition and pathology.

As for a newly-issued initiative to curb the virus spread, the city authorities have provided local families with tickets which allow them to go shopping at traditional markets for odd or even days in orders to limit crowds and gatherings, in line with the city's strict social distancing rules. Market stand holders must stockpile enough goods for two days and shoppers are able to go to traditional markets twice a week.
At present, the ‘one-stop shop’ mechanism in addressing administrative procedures in the city remained temporarily suspended until further notice, in line with the municipal government- mandated social distancing measures. Rather, the handling of all administrative procedures is now only conducted at http://dichvucong.danang.gov.vn.
It is noticeable that, compared with the social distancing period in the first wave of the Covid-19 occurring in April, the number of the city’s online public services has increased considerably.
In July alone, the number of administrative dossiers conducted online in the city accounted for 44.21% of the total.
