Addressing the farewell meeting of these medical workers, Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary Nguyen Van Quang highly lauded them for having fulfilled their assigned tasks well, and expressed his deep gratitude to them for their great devotion and dedication to the city's fight against Covid-19 in their efforts to treat infected patients and save lives of seriously ill patients.
Partly thanks to their active support, the Covid-19 outbreak in Da Nang has been basically brought under control, marking the initial basis for easing the city's social distancing restrictions.
It is worth praising that the Cho Ray Hospital-dispatched doctors did their utmost in saving the lives of seriously-ill patients with such complex comorbidities as kidney failure, heart failure and diabetes. For weeks now, many of these patients have been brought back from the brink of death, and they are now showing their considerable health improvements day after day.

According to doctor Tran Thanh Linh, Deputy Head of the Cho Ray Hospital’s Emergency Recovery Department, his Da Nang working trip offered the most memorable moments in his professional career.
In particular, he highly applauded Da Nang for its careful, drastic and methodical preparatory steps, especially ensuring sufficient advanced medical equipment, to gradually contain the pandemic. He also urged Da Nang’s residents to continue to stay alert against the unpredictable virus in a bid to help their city to eliminate the virus.
It is known that, after Da Nang saw a second wave of Covid-19 infections, the Cho Ray Hospital sent a total of 11 medical workers to help Da Nang fight the virus. This is an elite task force showing off their rich professional experience in treating severely ill Covid-19 patients recorded nationwide. Noticeably, these doctors joined the miracle treatment of a British pilot, Viet Nam’s most critically ill Covid-19 patient recorded when the first wave of the pandemic hit Viet Nam.
