On Saturday noon, the Hoa Vang Field Hospital discharged nine more patients being treated for the coronavirus after they had recovered from their illness and tested negative for the virus from three to five times, bringing total recoveries in this hospital till date to 29, Doctor Nguyen Dai Vinh, the Director of the Hoa Vang District Medical Center said.

These patients were transferred to the field hospital for treatment after they had tested positive for the virus. Seven of them are from Da Nang and the remainder are from Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces.

All of them have made a full recovery from the illness, and they are no longer contagious as they no longer suffer from fever, cough and shortness of breath, Doctor Nguyen Dai Vinh said.

The hospital used its specialised vehicles to carry the recovered people home. The close monitoring of these patients will be put in place during their 14-day self- quarantine period at their places of residence following the Health Ministry’s guidelines after patients are back in their own home.
