Nineteen more recoveries from Covid-19 in Da Nang
A further 19 Covid-19 patients in Da Nang were released from hospital on Sunday after three – five consecutive negative results at least 24 hours apart as per the Health Ministry’s guidelines.

In details, three were discharged from the Da Nang Lung Hospital on Sunday morning, whilst the remainder were released from the Hoa Vang Field Hospital in the afternoon of the same day.
They were given the all-clear after they had made a full recuperation from the life-threatening disease as they display no concerning symptoms such as fever, cough and shortness of breath.
To be fully eligible for the hospital discharge, the covered people must show no sign of respiratory symptoms, having a normal temperature and improved acute exudative lesions on chest CT images.
Upon their hospital discharge, the close monitoring of these recovered people will be put in place during their mandatory 14-day self-quarantine period at their places of residence, as a means of ensuring there is no possibility of the virus recurring or being transmitted among the wider community.
Statistics released by the Da Nang Department of Health show that Hoa Vang Field Hospital and the Lung Hospital have recorded a total of 210 recoveries till date after a second wave of Covid-19 infections hit the city late last month.
Currently, the remaining 136 patients are still receiving treatment in these two hospitals, of whom some are receiving dialysis treatment, whist a few remain in critical condition.
