Additional 11 patients in Da Nang cleared of coronavirus
An additional 11 Covid-19 patients in Da Nang were released from hospital on Wednesday following three to four consecutive negative results.
The recovered people were discharged from the Hoa Vang Field Hospital on Wednesday |
In details, six were discharged from the Da Nang Lung Hospital, whilst the remainder walked out of the Hoa Vang Field Hospital.
All of them were given the all-clear after they had made a full recuperation from the deadly pathogen as they show overall stable status, vital signs, normal organ function and improved chest X-ray readings.
Upon their hospital discharge, these recovered people must undergo a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine period at their places of residence, as a means of ensuring there is no possibility of the virus recurring or being transmitted among the wider community.
The freshly-discharged cases have brought the city’s total recoveries to 239 till date after a second wave of Covid-19 infections hit the city late July.
Currently, the remaining 105 patients are still receiving treatment in the Hoa Vang Field Hospital and the Lung Hospital. Doctors have brought improvements in health status for some seriously ill patients who received intensive care and life-saving treatment.
