Landlord's kindhearted gesture to tenants during pandemic
Mrs Vu Thi Nhu, a landlord owning a rental property in Lien Chieu District's Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, is loved by the majority of her tenants thanks to her touching acts of kindness for them during coronavirus pandemic.

The 70-year-old woman is the owner of 50 rooms for rent with a total of nearly 100 tenants, and she is willing to offer her help to those who need it.
Over recent years, Mrs Nhu has encouraged her tenants to place pots of green trees along walking way in order to create a green space in their living area.
After Da Nang saw a second wave of Covid-19 infections in late July, Mrs Nhu has been active in offering a helping hand to tenants who are immigrants by reducing their rental fees.
She has reduced rental fees by between 100,000 VND and 300,000 VND per room per month for her tenants who are low-income earners and have lost their jobs due to Covid-19.
Also, Mrs Nhu has provided free hand sanitizer gel to these people, and encouraged them to ensuring environmental sanitation in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
Mr Truong Thanh Binh, who is living in Mrs Xuan’s rental property, said “Aside from having my monthly rental fees reduced, I have received free food and essential items from my landlord. I'm so grateful to my landlord for all that she has done".
