The Online Mobile Services JSC, the provider of MoMo E-wallet, on Tuesday, donated one billion VND in cash to support Da Nang’s efforts in its fight against Covid-19.

Addressing a donation reception ceremony, Chairwoman of the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee Dang Thi Kim Lien thanked the donor for its generosity and active support to help Da Nang tackle Covid-19.

It is known that the Momo E-Wallet launched the ‘Joined Hands with Da Nang in The Fight against Covid-19’ campaign on 4 August.

Also, Momo has contributed 100 VND from each payment of electricity, water, internet and mobile bills made through the system to the campaign.

As of 3 September, a total of one billion VND had been raised from the campaign.

Most recently, the Momo E-Wallet has run a fundraising programme entitled ‘Determined to Win Covid-19’ to help pupils who are likely to drop out of school due to their financial hardship as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak, and other people who are struggling to make ends meet due to the effects of the pandemic.
