As of late September, the Da Nang branch of the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policies has offered over 4.4 billion VND in preferential student loans in a bid to support 307 students in difficult circumstances across the city.

In September alone, 51 poor students citywide accessed loans totalling around 1.1 billion VND at an interest rate of 5.5% pa.

Currently, the Da Nang branch of the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policies is offering preferential loans to poor students in Da Nang in a bid to help them cover their tuition fees for the 2020 - 2021 new school year.

Over recent years, numerous students facing financial hardship across Da Nang have benefited from the bank’s preferential loan packages to continue pursuing their academic dreams. It is worth lauding that none of them have dropped out of school due to financial problems.
