Picture of red-shanked douc langurs wins first prize in Biodiversity Photography Contest 2020

A picture of red-shanked douc langurs on Da Nang’s Son Tra Peninsula, captured by photographer Pham Van Phung in April 2020, has won the first prize in the Viet Nam Biodiversity Photography Contest 2020.
In addition, 2 second, 3 third and 5 consolation prizes have been awarded to outstanding contestants.
Co-organised by the Viet Nam Environment Administration of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the contest aimed to raise public awareness about biodiversity conservation and promote the rational use of biodiversity resources.
After 3 months of launching, the contest attracted more than 2,000 entries from 120 amateur and professional photographers nationwide.
