Twenty one persons have luckily escaped from two serious landslides in Tra Leng and Tra Van communes, Nam Tra My district, the central province of Quang Nam, said Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ho Quang Buu on 29 October.

They are among 53 reported unaccounted-for.

As of 29 October afternoon, 12 injured and six bodies were found, all from Tra Leng commune.

Fourteen people in Tra Leng commune are still missing.

Search and rescue work is still ongoing.
