The crew of fishery logistics ship DNa 90444 TS rescued seven fishermen from a boat sinking off the Da Nang coast on 23 Nov..

The crew on the fishing boat DNa 91212 TS, captained by Mr Le Thanh Duy from Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang, issued a distress signal at 4.00am on 23 Nov. stating that their boat was rapidly taking on water after hitting a floating container at sea. At that time, they were fishing at sea about 28 nautical miles east of the Da Nang coast.

After being alerted by a distress signal from distressed fishermen, fishery logistics ship DNa 90444 TS, captained by Mr Le Van Sang also from Hai Chau District's Thuan Phuoc Ward, operating nearby arrived to find seven fishermen trapped on the fishing boat DNa 91212 TS which was beginning to sink into the water. 

Rescuers helped distressed fishermen and safely brought them back to the mainland on the same day.
