Da Nang recorded 59 recoveries on Friday, October 1, taking total recoveries to 2,917 since August 25, the municipal Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in its latest COVID-19 bulletin said.

Currently, 244 infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 13 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 12 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.

Overall, 269 people, including 10 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 35 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 59 others came back negative twice.

At present, there are 796 people who are being placed under quarantine in 18 designated facilities across the city.

A total of 8 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones. 342 families with 1,118 people in total are being placed under full lockdown.
