Da Nang latest COVID-19 recovery updates: 2,950 recoveries since Aug. 25
The Da Nang Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control on Saturday, October 2, recorded an additional 33 recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In its latest case bulletin, the Committee said this pushed the recovery tally to 2,950 since August 25.
Currently, 211infected patients are being treated at the field hospital, 13 patients are under treatment at the Hoa Vang District Medical Centre, and 13 others are receiving treatment at the Lung Hospital.
Overall, 237 people, including 9 requiring critical care, are being treated for the coronavirus in Da Nang’s hospitals, of whom, 60 tested negative for the virus once while tests on 38 others came back negative twice.
At present, there are 767 people who are being placed under quarantine in 18 designated facilities across the city.
A total of 8 locations across Da Nang have been classified as red zones. 342 families with 1,118 people in total are being placed under full lockdown.
101,200 doses of COVID-19 vaccines arrived in Da Nang on October 2, bringing the total doses distributed in the city till date to 847,706. With 811,406 doses administered in total, 722,496 people across Da Nang have now been vaccinated with a first dose while 88,910 people have had both doses.
