The Ngu Hanh Son District Police, Da Nang on Monday seized a large amount of clothes of unknown origin planned for sales on An Thuong 3 Street, My An Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District.

Previously, the police had conducted a surprise raid into a truck parked on An Thuong 3 Street full of goods with suspicious signs and caught red-handed one tonne of imported clothes stored inside the truck.

The owner failed to show valid invoices and documents to prove their legal origin.

The police then administratively examined a house nearby and discovered more bags of clothes with the same type.

The total volume of goods seized from the aforementioned truck and the house is estimated at about two tonnes.
