Da Nang to see light showers during days in buildup to Tet
According to the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, around the night of January 28 - 29, the northern region is forecast to be affected by a strong northeast monsoon. Da Nang, along with other localities, is therefore likely to see light showers during days in the buildup to the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) 2022 festival.
The northern and north-central regions are likely to brace for thunderstorms, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Afterwards, cold air will gain strength.
In particular, Da Nang is expected to experience see mostly cloudy skies on January 27, 28 and 29, with the temperature of 22 – 27 degrees Celsius.
On January 30 and 31, the city is predicted to suffer from scattered light showers accompanied by thunderstorms in some of their parts with the mercury hovering at 20 - 24 degrees Celsius.
On the evening of January 31, the last day of the 2021 lunar year, the weather will clear up in some places. It is convenient for everyone to start to welcome in the New Year's Eve 2022. The temperature at night will drop to 19 - 20 degrees Celsius, and mildly cold.
It is forecasted that from the 1st till 4th days of the Lunar New Year, there is the possibility of cloudy, light drizzles in some of the city’s parts.
