The Da Nang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development said on Tuesday the Management Board of the Ba Na-Nui Chua Special Use Forest in Da Nang has handed over 6.44ha of overlapping areas in the Ca Nong area of ​​​​ the Ba Na - Nui Chua Nature Reserve in Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District to the People's Committee of Dong Giang District, Quang Nam Province, for management.

The handover was carried out under the direction of the Party Committees of Da Nang and Quang Nam Province at a joint meeting held on April 25.

Till date, the Management Board of the Ba Na-Nui Chua Special Use Forest and the Dong Giang District authorities have signed the handover minutes. Also, the board has provided relevant documents for the Dong Giang District authorities to manage forestry land area in accordance with the law.

Meanwhile, the Dong Giang District People's Committee continues to handle the remaining work in this overlapping area under the direction of the provincial authorities.

In the ​​6.44ha overlapping area, there are 3.9ha of acacia plantations, and 2.34ha for rubber plantations. The remaining 0.2ha has yet to be produced.
