The Quang Nam authorities have decided to open some bus routes operating in the province and some neighbouring localities during the 2022-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

Specifically, six adjacent bus routes connecting Quang Nam Province with neighbouring Da Nang and Quang Ngai Province will be opened. They will be Tam Ky - Da Nang, My Son - Da Nang, Cua Dai (Hoi An) - Da Nang, Chu Lai Airrport- Da Nang, Tay Giang - Dong Giang - Da Nang, and Tam Ky - Quang Ngai.

In addition, the province plans to add 16 new inner-city bus routes operating in Tam Ky, Hoi An and Dien Ban, and some specialised bus routes dedicated to serve tourists when needed.
