The Da Nang Park - Trees Company will substantially thin out the tree lines on urban streets city-wide in a bid to cope up with this year’s upcoming rainy and storming season.

Accordingly, in August and September 2022, the weather situation is forecasted to be complicated with tropical pressure, typhoons and rainstorms. Therefore, roadside trees along suburb and urban streets  will be trimmed down to their core or have height lowered from August 15 and 30, respectively.

The urban tree trimming by the Da Nang Parks and Trees Company will be completed on October 31 so as to ensure storm response. As estimated, there are nearly 50,000 trees across the city that need to be trimmed.  Workers will uses chainsaws to chop up big tree branches.
