The Da Nang government has given a nod to the giving of VND19.78 billion from the city’s budget to the Da Nang Radio and Television Station (Da Nang TV) for the purchase of equipment to store data for programme production and broadcast transmission meeting 4K resolution.

The purchase of the aforementioned equipment is within the framework of the ‘Improving the capacity of the post-production system for the production of radio and television programme at the Da Nang TV’ project.

The project will be implemented from 2022 to 2024 with a focus on purchasing an online program production storage system and a nearline storage system.

The goal of the project is to meet the transmission and storage of high-definition 4K for all television programme and broadcasting services running around the clock.
