The Da Nang Department of Transport said on Tuesday that the municipal government has agreed with its proposal for traffic rearrangement at the intersection of Le Van Hien and Tran Hoanh streets.

Accordingly, roundabouts will be placed, whilst existing median strips will be extended and traffic monitoring cameras will be installed.

Funding for the implementation of the project will be allocated from the city’s capital for traffic works during the 2022-2023 period.

The local Department of Transport has urged the Nam Viet A Urban Development and Construction JSC, the investor of Tran Hoanh route, to urgently make asphalt concrete mats at second grade, and complete the traffic items and related procedures, in order to hand over, manage and use the road under the direction of the municipal People's Committee in Notice No. 156/TB-VP dated March 18, 2022.

The project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2022.
