On Wednesday, the Director of the Da Nang branch of the Viet Nam Social Security Dinh Van Hiep visited and gave voluntary social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances.

According to Director Hiep, the donation of social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances is a practical companion of the Viet Nam Social Security for residents.

He highlighted the importance of the donation programme in promoting the fine cultural traditions of the nation, and calling on joint efforts of officials and employees in the social insurance industry and the whole society to support needy people. This helped to widely spread the spirit of humanity and social insurance and health insurance policies in the community.

On the occasion, 115 voluntary social insurance books and 100 health insurance cards, with a total value of VND285 million, were presented to needy people.
