The Da Nang People’s Committee and the High-level People's Procuracy in the city, on Wednesday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on boosting cooperation in digital transformation.

Under the agreement, the municipal People's Committee will create favourable conditions for the High-level People's Procuracy in Da Nang to connect with the city's apps and databases to serve professional work; as well as survey and consult on digital infrastructure at the new headquarters of the High Level People's Procuracy in Da Nang.

Importance will be attached to implementing information security and safety solutions, supporting the implementation of digital signature, and facilitating civil servants in charge of information technology at the High Level People's Procuracy in Da Nang to participate in information technology and digital transformation training courses in the city.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, municipal People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh remarked the signing of digital transformation cooperation was a premise for the city to coordinate comprehensively with the Higher People's Procuracy in the city to achieve achievements in the development and construction of smart cities.

At the same time, the city will take advantage of resources and advantages in human resources, science and technology, policies, and business systems to support and promote strengths in implementing the functions and tasks of the High-level People's Procuracy in Da Nang, he added.

Chairman Chinh requested the municipal Department of Information and Communications and related departments and agencies to coordinate closely with the High-Level People's Procuracy in Da Nang to effectively deploy the contents of the Memorandum of Understanding, especially with specific results and products, thereby contributing to early completion of digital transformation goals and targets of Da Nang and the High Level People's Procuracy in the city.
