A delegation of the Da Nang People's Committee, led by its Chairman Le Trung Chinh, had working sessions with the People's Committees of Binh Duong Province and Ho Chi Minh City on October 10 and 11.

In particular, leaders of Da Nang and Binh Duong Province exchanged experience in State management in various fields such as social housing investment, handling of investment procedures in industrial parks, the building of ecological industrial park models, and the construction of solid waste treatment plants.

Also, they discussed the orientations and key tasks in the socio-economic development of the two localities in the coming time.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai chaired the working session with the Da Nang delegation.

At the meeting, the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City discussed with the Da Nang delegation the implementation of Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 dated June 24, 2023 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City; as well as shared experience in implementing similar policies with Da Nang.

At the same time, the two localities also discussed the implementation of a number of solutions and key tasks in local socio-economic development in the coming time.

Speaking at the working sessions, Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Le Trung Chinh thanked leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province for their warm welcome and providing necessary information on the implementation status of the contents that Da Nang was interested in.

He assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to continue discussing with relevant units in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province on problems arising in the implementation process to serve as a basis for synthesising and proposing specific solutions for the development of sectors and fields in the 2020-2025 period and directions, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
