Beloved and Proud of the Words 'Our Party'!
I believe that in this world, there is no political party that is referred to by those outside of it, by the vast majority of the people, as "our party" with such affection and warmth; nor one that has entered the arts as the most beautiful symbol.

Why is that? Because the Party is the embodiment of the nation. The Party has one primary mission: first, to stand with the people and lead them in driving out invaders and liberating the country from foreign oppression; and ultimately, to work alongside the people to dismantle all injustices, gradually moving toward prosperity where everyone has enough to eat and wear, everyone has access to education, and everyone enjoys freedom—freedom of movement and residence; freedom of speech; and the freedom to pursue happiness.
If someone, somewhere, at any given time does not see these manifestations, then that person, that place, or that moment does not represent our Party! Each of us must report to the Party and come together to fight for what is ours; our lives belong to us, and the country belongs to us!
In the poem "Stand Up", written in 1938, poet To Huu quotes Marat (1743-1793), a prominent leader of the French bourgeois revolution: "People grow strong because you bow down; Oh people, stand tall!" It is not surprising that each of us strives to fulfill our role as the masters of our own destiny. Upon deeper reflection, if the people do not know how to take charge of their fate or exercise their rights, then the achievements of the revolution would be severely limited, if not rendered entirely meaningless.
In celebration of the Party's anniversary in 2025, a year when the entire nation enters a new revolutionary period focused on striving to elevate Vietnam into an era of development, transforming it into a powerhouse in all aspects and proudly standing alongside other nations. This occasion strongly reaffirms the irreplaceable leadership role of the Party. It validates the only correct path chosen by President Ho Chi Minh: the combination of national independence with socialism, igniting the aspirations and uniting the strength of the entire nation.
Why does the Party maintain its ruling role and remain an irreplaceable leader? Because it was founded and nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh. On his journey to seek national salvation, Ho Chi Minh encountered Marxism-Leninism. He realized that to liberate the nation, revolution was necessary. The revolution is not merely about replacing one ruling group with another; it is driven by a much higher ideal: for the people to be the masters of their own country and their own lives.
For a revolution to succeed, it must have a political party representing the most advanced class, led by its most outstanding members; it must also have a revolutionary force comprising the entire population, with the working class and peasantry as its core. To awaken and unite the people, there must be a means, an ideological banner, which is precisely the role of the press and propaganda work. This year also marks the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, with the founding of Thanh Nien Newspaper by President Ho Chi Minh, highlighting his far-sighted vision and profound ideas.
Historical reality has powerfully demonstrated that the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Party founded by Ho Chi Minh, is the essential factor behind every success, alongside the heroic people who have written the most glorious and radiant chapters in the entire heroic history of the nation. In his speech commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Party's founding, a political essay resembling a monument, the Party Chairman and President, with all the humility of a revolutionary, affirmed: “With all the humility of a revolutionary, we still have the right to say: Our Party is truly great!”
As long as there is a Vietnamese person who suffers from exploitation or poverty, the Party will feel sorrowful, believing it has yet to fulfill its duty... Thus, our Party is great because it encompasses the entire nation and is deeply connected to the hearts of our fellow citizens. Our Party is great because, beyond the interests of the class, the people, and the nation, it has no other interests. Not only does President Ho Chi Minh acknowledge the contributions of the Party, but he also has aspiration to build the Party into a cultural, ethical, and civilized entity for humanity: “Our Party embodies morality and civilization / It represents unity, independence, and peace with prosperity.” Ho Chi Minh is the Party, and the Party is Ho Chi Minh; how proud we are to have President Ho Chi Minh and our Party! Our Party exists because it was born from the people, and every citizen stands in solidarity with the revolutionary cause of the Party. The affectionate pride in the words "our Party" that President Ho Chi Minh and the people have used!
The celebration of the Party's founding is not just a moment of pride; more importantly, it is a call to strive for progress. The Party deserves this role and character; only then can it endure, remaining eternally vibrant alongside the heavens and earth, and warm in the hearts of the people!
