Building Da Nang into a child-friendly city
On Friday, the Da Nang Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with the United Nations Children's Fund to organise a workshop to share experiences on the child-friendly city initiative.

At the programme, the participants shared practices on promoting children's participation rights in urban contexts; presenting the Children's Council model; and training on mental health and digital transformation skills.
They were also introduced to creative communication initiatives to uphold children's participation in climate adaption action, reducing natural disaster risks and protecting the environment.
The project "Child-friendly City - Da Nang over the 2023-2026 period" aims to support Da Nang to become a child-friendly city by 2030, greatly contributing to promoting the protection, care and education of children between Da Nang and other provinces and cities.
