Leo coffee: must-try salty-forward taste in Da Nang
Located at alley 139/10 Tran Quang Khai, Tho Quang Ward, Son Tra District, Leo's salt coffee shop has earned its popularity among many locals and tourists due to its concentrated flavour of the coffee here as well as the meticulousness of the owner since the early days of establishment in 2020.
Nestled in a small alley, Leo's salt coffee shop is really worth a visit thanks to its minimal and nostalgic design along with a peaceful atmosphere. Apart from providing the best “check-in” experience for customers, the salty taste of the coastal city of Da Nang blending in the rich salted coffee, plus the fatty taste of milk are featured in Leo's salt coffee shop’s main beverage.
In addition, Leo also made a little embellishment to attract the young in its menu with whipped cream coffee, Bac Xiu, peach iced tea with salt cream or a cup of cocoa with salt cream.
In 2017, Leo’s owner experimented with how to make the best salty coffee but it seems that its taste was still lack something that makes her unsatisfied at that time.
By the beginning of 2020, Huynh Anh temporarily stopped her business due to the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic to spend time making a specific salted coffee by her own recipe. After a series of hard-working days with salt and coffee, Leo's salt cafe was finally announced to Da Nang residents.
“With the initial target customers are female customers who do not like the traditional taste of coffee, or pregnant women who like coffee, but surprisingly, Leo’s coffee gradually became known by many people, mainly the young working in the office,” said Ms. Huynh Anh- Leo’s owner.
Previously, Leo's coffee shop was also visited by guests from many provinces and cities across Viet Nam, or by foreign tourists.
In the future, Leo wishes to build salty coffee’s shops under the franchise business model and aim to expand a mini salty coffee’s chain in tourist attractions to serve visitors.
