Da Nang receives over 1,000 cruise ship passengers

Cruise ship Azamara Journey docked at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port on Tuesday, bringing more than 1,000 British, German, American and Chinese tourists to the city.

The passengers were taken by shuttle buses to the city centre to visit some of local popular tourist attractions, including the Da Nang Cathedral, the Han market, the Marble Mountains, the Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, the Linh Ung Pagoda and the My Khe Beach.

In addition to, tourist operators offered sightseeing tours specifically for cruise ship passengers. Accordingly, the visitors could choose in advance tourism products they want to visit and experience. When the ship arrived at the port, a car and tour guide picked them up right at the Tien Sa Port.

Cruise ship Azamara Journey arrived at the Tien Sa Port at 8:00 am and left the city for other destinations at 8:00 pm on the same day.

As planned, at 8:00am on March 27, cruise ship Aidabella, arranged by the Pacific Legend Co., Ltd., will bring nearly 2,000 international guests from Germany and Austria to Da Nang. It is scheduled to leave the city at 6:00 pm on the same day.
