According to the Da Nang Trade Promotion Centre, representatives from 6 Da Nang businesses are attending the 2014 International Silk Festival in Khon Kaen Province, Thailand from 29 November - 10 December.  This annual event gives businesses worldwide the chance to advertise their products, seek new partners, and expand their consumer markets. 

The participating Da Nang businesses are the Hai Thanh, Cham Cham, My Gia Thanh, Tan Loc and Huong Que companies, along with the An Khe Rattan and Bamboo Wares Cooperative.  They are showcasing a wide range of products such as dried seafood, wine, Hibiscus tea, coffee and medicines, along with those made of rattan, bamboo and cinnamon.  In addition, other local, non-participating businesses are also introducing their products by displaying catalogues of their products on the participating stands.

During the first day of the festival, Da Nang’s stands welcomed the Thai Minister of Internal Affairs, leaders of the Khon Kean Province, the Vietnamese commercial counsellor in Thailand, and hundreds of visitors.  Products made by the city’s businesses have been highly appreciated by Thai visitors.
