VN airports serve over 55m passengers in total in 7 months
Airports across the country served a total of 55.41 million passengers between January and July, reported the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam.

The number of passengers passing through terminals nationwide in July alone was 9.11 million, an increase of 12.2% against the same month last year.
Of these, the number of international arrivals was 2.34 million, up 2.1 %, and that of domestic travellers was 6.77 million, up 16.2%.
There are currently 63 foreign airlines from 25 countries and territories worldwide participating in the Vietnamese air transport market to operate regular international flights to Viet Nam.
Foreign airlines and 3 Vietnamese airlines, namely Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air and Jetstar Pacific Airlines, are now operating a total of 105 international flights to/ from Ha Noi, HCM City, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Hai Phong.
In the domestic market, 4 Vietnamese airlines, namely Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Jetstar Pacific Airlines and Viet Nam Air Services Company (Vasco) are operating 52 domestic routes in total connecting Ha Noi, Da Nang and HCM City with 18 nationwide airports.
Recently, the Airports Corporation of Viet Nam (ACV) has taken a series of measures to enhance the capacity of local airports, especially the 3 international airports of Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat and Da Nang.
The corporation also tightened inspections and surveillance to ensure service quality during the on-going peak travel season in summer this year.
