On Thursday, Holland America's MS Westerdam cruise ship, carrying a total of nearly 2,000 passengers from European countries, docked at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port.

During their one-day stay in the seaside city, the passengers were taken on organised daily tours to such popular attractions as the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Marble Mountain Tourist Area, and the Ba Na Hills Resort, as well as went shopping at the Han and Con markets, BigC Mall and Lotte Mart.

At around 11.00pm on the same day, the ship left the city for other destinations.

Arranged by the city's branch of the Destination Asia Co Ltd, the luxury cruiser has brought a large number of passengers to the city over recent years. This month, the company will arrange 3 another cruise ship arrivals to the city.
