11 billion VND for building hi-tech agricultural production model
On Wednesday morning, a ceremony to sow melon seeds took place at the hi-tech vegetable and fruit growing area in Trung Nghia Village, Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang. This is one of hi-tech vegetable and fruit production models in the city.
The ceremony was jointly organised by the municipal Farmers’ Association, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Department of Science and Technology, and the Hoa Vang District authorities.
The hi-tech vegetable and fruit production models cost a total of around 11 billion VND which is funded by the municipal Party Committee and the district authorities. These models are being implemented in the city between 2019 and 2021.
In particular, during the year, 2.86 billion VND has been poured into the building of 3 greenhouses with a total area of 3,075m2 to protect crops from bad weather condition, the installation of automatic irrigation, ventilation, drainage, power supply and seed storage systems, and the purchase of production materials.
In the next two years, 3 greenhouses covering a total area of 6,314m2, semi-processed houses, cold warehouses, and others will be set up.
