Over 1,379 billion VND for implementing two infrastructure projects in the city

Over 1,379 billion VND in total from the Da Nang budget will be spent on implementing the 3rd stage of the Hoa Xuan wastewater treatment plant project, and upgrading the Maternity and Paediatrics Hospital.

Developed by the Management Board for the city's Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects, the 3rd stage of the Hoa Xuan wastewater treatment plant project in Cam Le District is expected to be deployed during the 2020 - 2023 period at a total cost of over 590 billion VND.

The 3rd stage of the project will help the plant to increase its treatment capacity by 60,000m3  per day, thus bringing a total daily capacity of 120,000m3.

In addition, 789 billion VND will go to the upgrade and expansion of the Maternity and Paediatrics Hospital.

Developed by the Management Board of the Infrastructure and Urban Development Investment Projects, the upgrade of the hospital will focus on mitigating hospital overload by increasing the number of the patient beds from 600 to 1,000, and improving the quality of health care by upgradding the facilties and installing advanced medical equipment in order to provide better healthcare services for patients.
