The Da Nang authorities said restrictions on Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City began on 5 April, requiring anyone who arrives in the city from the two cities, including returning residents, to be quarantined in designated facilities for 14 days at their own expense.

The national carrier will operate three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on Da Nang -Ha Noi, and Da Nang- Ho Chi Minh City routes from 7-15 April.

Vietnam Airlines is operating only one daily round-trip flight from Ha Noi to HCM City. Meanwhile, all flights on remaining domestic routes have been suspended until further notice.

The carrier’s flight schedule at this time will flexibly rely on the reality. It commits to supporting passengers on domestic flights in changing their flights or routes due to the impacts of the deadly disease.
