Da Nang will launch its trade promotion scheme 2020 in the post-pandemic period with a series of events across the city in a bid to help recover the local economy.

The scheme will support the city’s businesses to go through difficulties, promote their trade activities, seek their potential partners and expand their consumer markets.

Under the scheme, annual trade fairs will open in the city, including: Spring Fair, Vietbuild Da Nang international exhibition, International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade and Tourism Fair, and Viet Nam Goods Fair. Besides, other specialised fairs, and such key campaigns as ‘Vietnamese People Give Priority to Using Vietnamese Goods’, and ‘Proud of Vietnamese Goods will be organised for marketing, promoting and selling locally produced goods in an effort to support the recovery of domestic businesses in Da Nang.

The city government will facilicate the city’s business to participate in trade fairs held at home and abroad, and organise export-oriented international seminars. In addition, support will be given to domestic businesses to bring Vietnamese products closer to consumers in rural areas, offer attractive promotion packages, enhance the quality of exported goods.
