On 11 and 12 November, Da Nang hosted guests from Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) on a familiarisation (FAM) trip to the city.

The visiting group consisted of representatives from Tourism Department and tourism businesses of HCMC.

The HCMC guests explored Da Nang with tours to such renowned accommodation establishments as Ariyana International Convention Centre and Naman Retreat Da Nang. The FAM trip showcased Da Nang as one of the best places to visit in Viet Nam with stunning landscapes and high-quality tourism products and services. 

Besides, the HCM City guests met with its Da Nang partners to make exchanges of appropriate ideas to boost win-win tourism cooperation in the time ahead.

The objective of the FAM was to create awareness of Da Nang’s capabilities as a year-round attractive destination for travellers as part of a tourism forum called ‘A Flow of Quintessence’ for the central key economic region and Viet Nam’s two biggest cities, namely Ha Noi and HCM City, which is slated to take place in Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An later this month.

The central key economic region consists of Da Nang and the provinces of Thua Thien - Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh.

On the spotlight of the forthcoming event’s agenda will be the signing of many tourism cooperation agreements between the six central localities and the two Vietnamese big cities over the 2021 - 2025 period.
