General Director of Trung Nam Group Nguyen Tam Tien remarked after 3 months of being put into operation, the surface-mount technology (SMT) assembly and manufacturing plant, located in the Hoa Vang District-based Da Nang Dedicated IT Park (DITP), has already received its first orders from customers.
As planned, the plant will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with its strategic partner from the USA-based Silicon Valley in the coming time. The plant is expected to earn 1.2 billion USD/ year in revenue in the next five years.
Trung Nam Group is planning to build five information and communication technology (ICT) factories, with an area of between 4,000m2 and 6,000m2 each, along with a 3-storey showroom. In addition, such technical infrastructure items as internal roads, water supply, and drainage systems will be developed.
