Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourism beaches, said that just like previous years, on the occasion of the National Reunification Day (April 30) and Labour Day (May 1) holidays, his agency now tasks its functional forces with being on duty at beaches and public areas packed with tourists.
Amid the complex developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, all visitors to local beach are required to wear face coverings in order to ensure their ultimate safety.
During the ongoing four-day break for the public holidays, the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourism beaches is running highly enticing events for both local residents and visitors.
In particular, 90 beautiful photos of the Son Tra Peninsula are now on display at the East Sea Park-located exhibition on the theme of ‘Son Tra Birds’ Wings’ and ‘Son Tra Moments’ which runs until May 3. The displayed photos, taken by photographers in the city over recent years, introduce visitors to the impressive moments and unique beauty of the diverse ecosystems and typical birds living on the Son Tra Peninsula.
Likewise, there are some ideal check-in venues at the East Sea Park and the My An Beach, from the intersection of Nguyen Van Thoai - Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa streets to the Holiday Beach Hotel, attracting a great attention from tourists.
Also in a similar vein, thousands of visitors took tours to the highly popular Marble Mountain Tourist Area on Friday.
