The Da Nang People's Committee has decided to halt the auction of a over 2,144.7m² land area coded A2 on the corner of Nguyen Van Linh and Hoang Dieu streets, adjacent to the existing Phuoc Ninh relic site in Nam Duong Ward, Hai Chau District.

The municipal Department of Construction shall assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with other relevant agencies to commence the construction of a green-covered walking garden combined with a public parking site funded by the municipal budget in the coming time. 

This move aims to serve the common needs of the locals and ensure a  harmony with surrounding landscape.

As planned initially, this aforementioned land plot had been amongst local sites to be auctioned off for the development of a privately-run smart parking garage combined with commerce and services for tourists.
