As reported, the Authority of Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones (DHPIZA) has inspected the implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control missions at 348 enterprises operating at the Hi-tech and concentrated IT parks and industrial parks (IPs) across the city, especially those in Lien Chieu District which has recorded a high number of COVID-19 cases over recent days.

Some COVID-19 prevention task groups have been set up at local IPs in a bid to prevent further coronavirus infection clusters in these important production sites.  

Since the lifting of the social distancing mandate in Da Nang until now, an accumulation of 494 positive cases of SARS-CoV-2 have been detected in the Da Nang Hi-tech Park and IPs. Notably, the Matrix Company Limited based in the Hoa Khanh IP, Lien Chieu District has logged 291 infections.

Currently, IPs-located businesses are operating as normal with more attention paid to asking all of their employees to strictly obey the 5K recommendations of the Ministry of Health, make medical declarations via QR codes and be subject to periodic COVID-19 tests.
