Da Nang approves investment policy for US$ 60 million project in Hi-Tech Park
The Authority of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones (DHPIZA) has given a nod to the investment policy for the U.S.’s Vector Fabrication Inc. -developed Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park.
The project has an investment capital of VND1,366.8 billion, equivalent to US$60 million, covering a land area of 40,000m2.
The project objective is to produce electronic printed circuit boards as well as to research, develop and manufacture micro-mechatronic products.
In Phase 1, work will kick-start on the project in 2022 and it is expected to be put into operation in early 2025.
It is known that from the start of 2022 until now, the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, the Concentrated Information Technology Park and local industrial parks (IPs) have attracted a combined total of 3 FDI projects with registered investment capital of US$65.04 million and 8 domestically -invested ones worth more than VND 1,228.7 billion in total.
Till date, the above-mentioned parks and IPs have attracted a total 508 projects, of which 378 are domestic ones totalling over VND28,000 billion and 130 FDI ones valued at over US$1,860 million in total.
