As reported by the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre, from June 15 to 18, a famtrip delegation from Malaysia visited Da Nang and the neighbouring province of Quang Nam so as to survey the local tourism products, services and attractions there.

The Malaysian famtrip delegation experienced many diverse tourism products and services in Da Nang and the neighboring province of Quang Nam.

The famtrip programme was held by Da Nang the Department of Tourism in coordination with the Da Nang Tourism Association, the Da Nang Travel Association and the Viet Nam Airlines branch in Malaysia.

The delegation consisted of 12 representatives from prestigious Malaysian travel agencies.
The famtrip was one of the activities to restore the international tourist market, showing that Da Nang is always ready to serve tourists ariving in the city, and Central Viet Nam as a whole. 

Specifically, the Malaysian delegation paid trips to highly popular tourists attractions in Da Nang and the neighbouring province of Quang Nam such as Ba Na Hills, Son Tra Peninsula, Mikazuki Hotel and Hoi An City.

The above-mentioned tourism survey helped the travel businesses update new tourism products and services into tour programmes in accordance with the needs and post-pandemic trends of the Malaysian market, thus attracting more tourists from this foreign country to Da Nang in the coming time.

The Da Nang tourism industry will continue to create the most favourable conditions to connect tourists between the two markets, diversify products, upgrade facilities and services, ensure security and safe environment, as well as enhance the quality of tourism human resources in order to promote inbound tourism in the time ahead.

It is known that, over the past years, Malaysia has always been in the top 10 sources of international arrivals in Da Nang.
