The Laos - Vietnam Friendship Expo on Friday kicked off at the Trade Centre of Sekong Province, Laos, and it is slated to run till July 3.

The trade fair attracts the participation of 4 provinces in Southern Laos and the same number of localities in South Central Viet Nam, namely Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam and Kon Tum.

Led by Mr. Le Thanh Ha, Director of the Da Nang Industrial and Trade Promotion Centre, the Da Nang delegation comprises of representatives from 16 Vietnamese enterprises participating in the exhibition.

These businesses introduced Laotian consumers to Da Nang’s typical and outstanding products. Included are Sunsay dryer made by the Viet Nam Green Industrial JSC; carton boxes of all kinds by the Hoa Binh Carton Packaging Manufacturing Co., Ltd); electronics, real estate by Cuong Hung Thinh Group Joint Stock Company; food, fruit and, vegetables by Thien Dinh Investment and Technology Development Co., Ltd; dried seafood, fish sauce by My Gia Thanh private enterprise; coffee by Danh An Phat Co., Ltd., and Phuong Nguyen Co., Ltd); Binh Minh and Huong Lang Co fish sauce, rice paper by Dai Cuong company; ginger tea by ginger tea by the Tam Nguyen business establishment); coconut cakes by the My Phuong Foods company; pharmaceuticals by the Bao Linh Co., Ltd.); Sala glass cutting board by the Le House Co., Ltd.

The event aims to support Vietnamese businesses to survey the Laotian market, introduce Vietnamese products to Laotian consumers, seek opportunities for trade and investment cooperation with businesses in the southern provinces of Laos, and promote exports of Vietnamese goods to the Laotian market.
