Domestic revenue in first half of 2022 estimated at VND 775,262 billion
The Viet Nam General Department of Taxation on Thursday held a meeting to review its performance in the first 6 half of 2022 and solutions to perform key tasks in the second half.

As reported, the budget revenue of the whole tax sector across Viet Nam in the first half of this year was estimated at VND775,262 billion, equal to 66% of the ordinance estimate (VND1,174,900 billion), equal to 117.6% over the same period in 2021.
In detail, domestic revenue reached VND741,145 billion, equaling 64.6% of the ordinance estimate, equal to 115.7% over the same period in 2021.
Revenue from crude oil was estimated at VND34,116 billion, equaling 121% of the estimate, equaling 180.3% over the same period.
As for the implementation of e-invoices, as of June 26, 99.7% of the businesses operating across the country switched to using e-invoices.
Meanwhile, 64,811 family-run businesses and individuals doing business according to the declaration method registered for the use of e-invoices according to regulations with the number of the issued e-invoices being about 511 million.
With regard to key tasks for the remaining months of the year, the whole tax sector will effectively implement the tax system reform strategy by 2030 approved by the Prime Minister.
In addition, the Viet Nam General Department of Taxation has built 19 groups of solutions to comprehensively complete the tax task set for 2022.
