The Da Nang Department of Tourism on Thursday worked with Vietnamese budget flyer VietJet Air to organize a marketing event in India to introduce Vietjet's non-stop flights linking Da Nang with Indian cities.
This event offered the opportunity for the municipal Department of Tourism to promote Da Nang as an attractive destination for Indian travellers. The focus was on introducing exciting events and festivals, tourism products and services, especially beach holiday tour packages, MICE tourism, wedding tourism in Da Nang to residents and businesses in India.
During the Da Nang tourism brand and destination marketing campaign launched in India, Da Nang guests signed cooperation agreements with their partners. In detail, the agreement between the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center and India’s Global Aviation Services Pvt. Ltd on a new partnership contains Da Nang’s active support for its Indian partner to explore new markets. In addition, the cooperation agreement signed between the Da Nang Tourism Association and Network of Indian MICE Agents (NIMA) aims to promote the development of the MICE segment. Under the agreement, the Da Nang Tourism Association will offer support and consultations on products and services in the city’s MICE industry to NIMA in a bid to attract MICE delegations from this country to the city.
