Within the framework of the ongoing International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade and Tourism Fair 2022, a supply-demand connection conference is taking place at the International Exhibition Fair Centre, 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, and it will run through August 8.

Organised by the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, the event sees the participation of 115 production and distribution units from 27 provinces and cities across the country such as An Giang, Ben Tre, Binh Duong, Can Tho, Dong Nai, Ha Tinh, Lam Dong, An Giang and Nghe An.

During the conference, the participating units display and introduce their typical local products such as food, agricultural products, seafood, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, household appliances, handicrafts, healthcare services, fashion items and souvenirs.

The supply-demand connection conference aims to strengthen regional linkages, as well as exchange and consume goods and services between Da Nang and other provinces and cities nationwide.

Also, it responds to the ‘Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods’ campaign 2022, and a project on developing the domestic market in association with the above-mentioned campaign in Da Nang during the 2021-2025 period.
