Da Nang's budget collection in 2022 reaches VND24,132 billion
As of 4:00 pm on Thursday, Da Nang’s budget revenue was estimated at VND24,132 billion, exceeding the estimate by 22.9% and up 4.5% over the same period last year.

Of which, domestic revenue reached 124.56% of the estimate to hit VND18,818 billion, whilst revenue from imports and exports was VND5,292 billion, or equivalent to 117.61% of the estimate.
The city’s total State budget expenditure generated VND25,221 billion, of which the central budget spending was VND9,324 billion, and the local budget spending was VND15,897 billion.
The figure was reported by Director of the State Treasury of Da Nang Phan Quang Thong at a meeting on the same day to review the city’s socio-economic situation, revenue, expenditure and State budget in 2022 and identify new tasks in 2023.

Speaking at the meeting, municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang highly lauded remarkable socio-economic achievements, especially budget revenue and expenditure, attributing these common achievements partly to great efforts made by the Personnel Board of the municipal People's Committee, the financial sector and localities.
He added it is forecasted that there will be many difficulties and great challenges posed to the whole country in general and Da Nang in particular next year when world economic difficulties such as inflation, and fluctuations in raw materials have had an impact from the fourth quarter of 2022.

He hoped that relevant units and localities will take appropriate cost-saving solutions, and prepare for unexpected situations
He believed that with the determination, companionship, leadership and direction of leaders of the city, localities will well complete their assigned tasks in 2023, thereby contributing to building and developing a more sustainable city.
