Gasoline prices continue downward trend
The retail prices of petrol and oil were reduced from 3:00pm on Thursday following the latest adjustment by the Inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance. This is the second time in a row that gasoline prices have been adjusted down.
Specifically, the retail price of E5 RON 92 went down by VND992 per liter to the maximum of VND21,679 per liter, whilst that of RON 95 decreased by VND1,083 per liter to VND22,704 per liter.
The price of kerosene fell to VND23,562 per liter, a decrease of VND1,078 per liter, and that of diesel oil was cut by VND1,588 per liter to VND23,213 per liter. Mazut oil was priced at VND13,950 per kg, a decline of VND832.
The two ministries also determined to extract VND300 per liter from E5 RON 92 price, VND400 per liter from RON95 price, VND700 per liter from diesel price, VND300 per liter from kerosene price, and VND500 per kg from Mazut oil for the petrol price stabilisation fund.
Also at this time, the domestic petroleum supply has stabilized again, so there is no longer the scene of motorists queueing up at fuel stations in a desperate attempt to fill up.
